This two-week workshop is designed to be engaging, interactive, and educational. It provides children with a comprehensive introduction to creative writing and radio play production. By the end of the workshop, participants will have developed a radio play from concept to final recording, gaining valuable skills in script writing, voice acting, and audio production.
Duration: 4 sessions, with 4 pre-recorded videos, 2 Live group video calls
Outcome: A completed radio play ready to share with family and friends. And a certificate of completion!
Materials Needed:
Digital Tools: Google Docs or Word, Skype, and Free App Audacity
Audio Equipment: Basic microphone (can be built-in computer microphones or external USB microphones)
Sound Effects: Pre-recorded sound effects from free sound libraries or created at home
